Bathing in milk and olive oil are ancient traditions for maintaining healthy skin. The ancient Greeks spread olive oil on their skin and scraped it off with a stirgil, while on the other side of the pond Cleopatra was taking daily milk baths. While these bathing rituals have transcended the ages, methods have changed.
Today we have this: a luxurious soap containing only fresh raw goat milk from Caprikorn Farms, pure olive oil and a dash of comfrey leaf for color. Nothing else. Also known as a Castile soap, this is the mildest soap, and is ideal for use as a body bar as well as hair shampoo. It is especially recommended for people with skin sensitivities.
We make our soaps with seasonal ingredients in small batches and hand-cut them into bars. As a result, there may be very slight variations in color, size and shape between bars. Each bar is at least 4.25 ounces when cut.
